Mount Hereford

Municipalities: East Hereford & Saint Herménégilde
Site emblem: Black-throated Blue Warbler

How to get there

Mount Hereford is accessible via the Neil-Tillotson Hiking Trail in East Hereford.

East Hereford Entrance: from Coaticook, take Rue Main, east. Immediately after the lights at Rue Main and Saint Jacques, go right on Rue Desrosiers (rang 9) in the direction of East Hereford. Continue on this road for 20 kms. The trail parking lot is on the right 2 km after the East Hereford sign, just before Chemin Lépine.

A little secret . . .
The top of Mount Hereford is also accessible by car via Centennial Drive. In the village of Saint Herménégilde, continue straight on Chemin Saint Jacques to the stop sign. At the junction of Chemin Saint Jacques and Bissonnette, continue to the right on Saint Jacques. The entrance of Centennial Drive is 1.5 km farther on your right. Rough gravel road with steep inclines.

Watch for this sign. It will show you the best place to park your car.
